Answer: DISP=OLD denotes exclusive control of the dataset;

What is the difference between DISP=OLD,DISP=MOD & DISP=NEW
Answer:
DISP=OLD denotes exclusive control of the dataset;
DISP=MOD is used when the dataset can be extended, ie, you can add records at the end of an existing dataset.

DISP=MOD means the data set if not existing then create it and use it

The DISP parameter identifies the status of a data set prior to the beginning of the jobstep and after the jobstep completes
