Question: What is the difference between Prompt table with edit and Prompt table with no edit?

Answer: Prompt table with edit means we can enter the value directly in edit box if the same value exists in prompt table and prompt table with no edit means we have to click on prompt button icon to enter the values

Prompt table with edit - Edits the contents of the field against the values that are maintained in the specified prompt table.
Prompt table with no edit - Provides users with a list of suggested values, but does not edit the contents of the field against the prompt table. Users can enter any value. Source: CoolInterview.com

The Prompt table with edit the user can 't edit the values eg :
the country_tbl is promt table with edit then the user cannot enter new value into country field user
if user enter the new values into field then the field goes to red and display the select only list of values
select only list of values(from country_tbl)
the Prompt table with no edit
the user can edit the values eg:
country_tbl is prompt with no edit then user can enter the new country into country_tbl ans also user select list values. Source: CoolInterview.com

PROMPT TABLE WITH EDIT DOESNOT ALLOWS THE USER TO ENTER HIS OWN VALUES FOR A FIELD.THAT IS USER HAVE TO SELECT THE VALUES BY CLICKING ON THE PROMPT BUTTON ONLY.
