Question: How do I make my own PowerPoint backgrounds?
Answer: What you're talking about, is creating templates, or "POT" files. First of all, any file can be saved as a POT file--all you have to do is use the SAVE AS dialog and select POT as the file type, replacing PPT. This action automatically takes you to the location where the rest of the templates are stored, which is sometimes useful and sometimes not.
