Question: What are the major differences between stress testing,load testing,Volume testing?
Answer: Load Test is the testing an application under heavy loads. Stress Tesing is used to describe the tests as system functional testing under unusual heavy loads, heavy inputs, complex queries to a database system. Volume testing is the test where the system is subjected to large volumes of data. It can be used in component testing. This would be correlated with the code. Load Testing and Stress Testing - both the terms are interchangeable. Where as Volume Testing comes under Stress testing.
