Question:
What do you mean by binding of data and functions?
Answer:
Encapsulation. Source: CoolInterview.com
Hi,<br>Binding of data and functions is an OOPS concept, Encapsulation. Class is the concept which does this along with the help of the access Specifiers. for e.g the private members of a class could just be seen by the member functions of that class only. and when u want to access any of the data member or the member function, u have to go through the class object/name only. <br>So the data and the function which accesses that data are binded to each other.<br> Source: CoolInterview.com

Binding of data with function means these many operation/functionality can be performed on the given data. Take a real world example, a car. Car has wheels, steering, gear, brake etc as its data and there is well defined operation that can be performed on these data. For example Wheel will be used for running the car but not for sitting.
