    hich transmit the motion from one shaft to another shaft. there are many application its used in automobile (i.e.Progreesive type,synchromesh, constant mesh, selective type,automatically).Gear box also used in Rolling mill(i.e. pinion gear box, reduction gear box, speed increaser,reduction cum pinion.)



    Gear box is a box contain gears , which transmit the motion from one shaft to another shaft. there are many application its used in automobile (i.e.Progreesive type,synchromesh, constant mesh, selective type,automatically).Gear box also used in Rolling mill(i.e. pinion gear box, reduction gear box, speed increaser,reduction cum pinion.)

    gear box generally consists of gears (spur, bevel, etc.,) its main objective is to transmit the motion (from propeller shaft to wheels in case of automobiles,acts as a differential).a gear box which is used automobile field consists of an annular ring,planet and sun gears.
