    A Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization is responsible for performing a process or a part of a process of another business organization; outsourcing is done to save on costs or gain in productivity.

    A call center performs that part of a client?s business which involves handling telephone calls. A call center, for example, might handle customer complaints coming in over a
    telephone.

    Thus, a call center can be considered a BPO organization. The converse is, however, not true because there exist BPO organizations, such as medical transcription agencies, which
    handle their business through websites, and do not process any telephone calls on behalf of their clients.

    Business process outsourcing (BPO) is a subset of outsourcing that involves the contracting of the operations and responsibilities of specific business functions (or processes) to a third-party service provider. Originally, this was associated with manufacturing firms, such as Coca Cola that outsourced large segments of its supply chain.[1]. In the contemporary context, it is primarily used to refer to the outsourcing of services.





    A call centre or call center[1] is a centralised office used for the purpose of receiving and transmitting a large volume of requests by telephone. A call centre is operated by a company to administer incoming product support or information inquiries from consumers. Outgoing calls for telemarketing, clientele, product services, and debt collection are also made. In addition to a call centre, collective handling of letters, faxes, live chat, and e-mails at one location is known as a contact centre.

    BPO stands for business process outsourcing . there are two kind of BPO's
    1. inbound : you will have to receive the calls.
    2. outbound : you will have to make the calls.

    A call center is bassically a company, organization, or institution that handles the service center, or sales center of any company.

    Hi there Jayson, I also worked in a BPO comapny for 4 years and I just can't imagine that they will pull up companies here in the Philippines, I mean, it helped thousands of people and clients at the same time. Why, why would they close their gates to us?
