EARL - If u cut the head (at ur door)
PEAR - If u cut the tail (its fruit)
EAR - If u cut the both (with you)

I think its ------- Pearl (live in water)

When you cut head --------earl ( at ur door)
when u cut tail ----------pear ( i am fruit)
cut both head and tail --------ear (i am with you)
