Bug life cycle
New-->Tester rise and test lead verifies Open-->test Lead verifies and change the status from New to Open
Retest-->After fixing the bug Fixer change's the status to Retest or reject or deffered it depends upon the functionality.
Retest pass/Fail-->this will be given when tester is retest the defect or bug close-->this status is given by the test lead after making confirmation from tester that it has passed or failed if it is pass then it is close if it is fail then cycle runs until it get fix and tested with pass.
